  what is the purpose of yorww having a creed & the forty (40) basic, fundamental truth requirement?.

  many people have wondered about the above question and our stand on the forty (40) basic, fundamental truths, and why we make it a requirement for individual jehovah's witnesses to believe these ideas before...before they can join our five (5) discussion boards.well, its called the yorww congregation, isn't it?its a congregation of like believers and persons of like faith.

  (matthew 18:20) so they are supposed to agree on their beliefs, exactly as first century christians agreed upon their beliefs.

  To whom should Christians pray to?

  it is funny how christians argue back and forth over the father, jesus christ and make it look as the father and the son are are loggerheads over supremacy.. even who to pray to between the father and jesus are means to create rivalry.

  it boils down to this, your essence of being a christian goes beyond those unending argument making jesus a rival of his father.

  psalms 65: 2. o hearer of prayer, to you people of all sorts* will come.. john 14: 13 also, whatever you ask in my name , i will do this, so that the father may be glorified in connection with the son.

  jude 1:9 (kjv) yet michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, the lord rebuke thee.. matthew 4:10 (kjv) then saith jesus unto him, get thee hence, satan: for it is written, thou shalt worship the lord thy god, and him only shalt thou serve.

  .....my understanding is that you all believe jesus is michael the archangel....... the two verses above describe two different personalities..... the archangel in jude rebuked satan in the name of the father, because he knew it was not his place to rebuke him, he knew that he didn't have the authority to do so, that the only person who possesses this authority is god himself.... while jesus, in matthew 4:10, does not need to invoke the name of the father to rebuke satan, because the father and jesus are one, not michael and jesus..... .... because michael the archangel is not jesus christ our savior.....

  i didn’t get the covid vaccine, but i admit, i was scared as shit i made the wrong decision because there was so much confusion out there.

  practically all my family and most of my friends took the vaccine because everyone was depending on those in charge to speak the truth.

  now a lot of them are sick, and they can't figure out why.

  i decided not to take the booster shot this year.

  My wife tested positive on friday. I tested positive yesterday. Both of us are very ill now. Far worse than the previous 2 times we were positive.

  Loss of a Jehovah’s Witness who I considered a friend

  i have known a jehovah’s witness for approximately 15 years and i have considered her a friend although i know that jehovah’s witnesses cannot have friends who are not jehovah’s witnesses.

  approximately two years ago, i was going through a very difficult time and i asked my friend if we could have bible study.

  she said yes and we have been studying the bible since.

  never miss a marketing opportunity—even at a funeral.

  funerals aren’t the first place you’d expect marketing.

  but jehovah’s witnesses know how to turn every moment into an opportunity to share their message.. during funerals, they weave in their teachings of hope and resurrection, offering comfort and, at the same time, presenting their beliefs to attendees who may not be part of the faith.

  My late JW dad never shunned me--and i think ( he never told me-)--he was not an elder because this was known in his congregation )

  My JW daughter--his grandaughter--shunned him , in real terms--by never visiting him when he lived in a care home half a mile from her. let that sink in. She shunned him , i believe, because she knew he didnt shun me, in fact i visited him most days.

  He died 8 years ago. I was his heir, held power of attorney and sole beneficiary. I checked his will for any possible funeral requirements--there were none.

  So i arranged a private cremation and told no one else about it. It was a non religious funeral--no speeches--just a minutes silence and that was it. The only persons attending were me, 2 of my friends--both ex jw, and 2 care staff from the care home. It was all over in a few minutes.

  I believe funerals are for the living family and friends., and i didnt want any of that cult there.

  i will celebrate 01.10.2025 the 50th anniversary of the "end of 6000 years of human history and the immediate end of the world".
